Originally from Northern Ireland, I studied Veterinary Science at Bristol University in England, getting my degree in 1991.
I registered as a vet in NSW the same year and worked in Sydney and then Newcastle. Most of my veterinary career however has been based in London but as my two children got a little older I thought Australia was the best place for them to grow up.
I developed a love for the books of James Herriot and my choice of career was fixed from about the age of nine. Thirty years later and I still look forward to my working day, especially if there are a few complicated surgeries or a case that needs an ultrasound or in-depth investigation.
I look forward to meeting you all and your fur babies.

As well as being a qualified Vet Nurse, Linn is also our lovely practice manager and co-owns the clinic! Linn very much enjoys the surgical aspect of our profession, having a big passion for it! Your fur babies, rest assured, are in great hands with Linn out the back :)

Kath has worked here at Arundel Plaza Vets since 2018. She loves to organise us and keep things tidy :) We appreciate Kath so much! Kath has been a veterinary nurse for over 40 years. Talk about experience! Originally from England, Kath moved to Australia in 2011. She has loved learning about all our native creatures and unique cases we only see in Australia, such as paralysis ticks, certain snake bites, heartworm, etc. – which all don't occur in England!

Where you find Linn you'll find Norman! He is a beautiful gentleman (I mean Greyhound*). He'll either be lying on his bed behind the reception desk, lying in the hallway, wherever you see him he is probably lounging! Please keep an eye out for Norman and say hello (hint: he LOVES liver treats).
